Counselling - WHO SHOULD USE AN INVESTMENT COUNSELLOR?
Investors who are comfortable entrusting their decisions to a highly trained professional manager will have confidence using the services of an investment counsellor. The relationship should be viewed as long term and is not appropriate for those seeking short term opinions or advice on single buy/sell transactions. Most investment counselling firms have a minimum investment requirement for discretionary investment management. This may be composed of several accounts for the same investor or family members. Typically the minimum is $500,000, and details for each firm are included in the directory section of this website.
